Arkansas Marriage Requirements

We can only marry couples with valid Arkansas marriage licenses. You may pick up a marriage license in any county in the State of Arkansas. There are no witnesses, waiting period or blood test needed in the State of Arkansas.

You have 60 days from the day you purchase your license to get married and return the license to the county courthouse from which you purchased it.

The Carroll County Courthouse is located directly across the street from Judge Roy Bean's Old Time Photo and Weddings.

The Courthouse requires each individual to have a photo ID (driver's license) and their social security number. The Courthouse hours are M-F 8:30 - 4:00 and Saturdays 9 - 12:30. Saturdays are busy at the courthouse, so give yourself plenty of time to find a parking spot and get the license. The courthouse only accepts cash of $58 for the license.
